"They've been our playtesters for the changes we've made to Special Edition."

This is what pisses me off. I could give 2 craps about it going to XBLA. But why don't I get the full version when I've already bought it?

because you already brought it?

I mean it's no different than special editions, GOTY editions etc and is a very common practive when it comes to delayed ports. Sure it's a bummer but that's capitalisim, the developers have no obligation to to give you extra features after you hav brought it.

Um... what?  I said bought it.  As in the past tense of buy.

It is different because I can buy the GOTY editions if I want or at least the DLC to update the original version.   In this case I cannot buy the special edition thus my frustration over having already bought (not brought?) the game.

I was answering your question with a rhetorical question including a typo

Oh okay I see now.  Well that's true and why it pisses me off.

I still don't get why developers agree to Microsofts terms when it comes to XBLA? It has to come out at the same time, if not have more features? Yet, this doesn't hold true the other way round? Surely it's a form of exploitation because of monopoly markets?

Am I understand this correctly? My industry doesn't work like that, we bend over to get clients business just so the competition won't.

Sony does the same thing and it makes sense.  Why would they let a port release a year late on their platform that is the exact same game as the original?

Who's angry?...

I was more thinking that the content is not available on the other console at all. Mass Effect 3 was released on PS3 late with content included in the price, as it should be, it's a year old but none of the content was only available on PS3. But I understand your point, thanks.

Hmm, pie.

Can someone please tell me how this is different to, for example, Tales of Graces coming to the Wii, only to be superceded by Tales of Graces f for the PS3 later? Is it just the console of choice as to why we haven't heard this kind of argument before?

Mysterious mystery.

I dont mind that there going muilt but saying "They've been our playtesters for the changes we've made to Special Edition." makes me regret buy the game. I wish the no success if this is how they treat the people that made them the devs they are today

Translation: We don't actually understand, but please don't kill us, Sony fans, you psychotic fucks you.

Imagine Dead Space Extraction was a full price PS3 game which was later given away on Xbox 360. Capcom probably would get their HQ burnt down.
