M$ is not maiking money on the 360. The RROD thing alone kills that. The only profit they have ever recorded for a console was when HAlo3 launched. As soon as that left, back down in the red. They have however already stated that a add-on BD player is not out of the question.

As for Paramount and Universal, they dont constitute a war when BD now has over 70% of the content. The longer they stay with HD-DVD, the longer they will lose money. I would suspect that the HD-DVD camp will announce there departure at CES.

Proof, your talking out of your ass as NJ5 has stated. If you actually knew anything you would know that MS wrote off RROD issues with the billion on one of their last profit statements.

Lose money? You understand how dismil High def dvds are selling right?

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

a price cut will do for now, for Microsoft.

@ Lost tears

Nice pic, bud!

After seeing both Microsoft and Sony's press conferences at CES I think that Microsoft's next move is IP TV. Replace all cable, digital, and satellite boxes world wide with 360's. Who cares if you sell a console at retail... Distributing through TV subscriber services will get a better result.

Well, once HD is officially dead it'll give the PS3 some better perceived value, so I think a price cut for the 360 would be in order. But nothing beyond that, as least due do this.
