No they aren't... Last time i checked the gap between PS3 and X360 was like 7 million and they are both selling at almost the same pase.

THE NETHERLANDS

Halo ds

Price drop, nothing else.

hey madskillz ms doesn't make a profit with each console. You have to add the writeoff for rrod of 1.1 billion after all. If you include that ms gaming division had bigger or similar losses than sony's 2007. Money doesn't grow on trees for ms either.
i would like to know how high their return rates are with falcon.

In the end Sony could benefit more from pricecuts. They are still in uncomfortably high price range with 400$. The arcade with 279 is already in a good position but a cut would of course help. How much I dont know.

besides a 360 with internal hddvd drive was never a good idea now even less. Ms was not willing to include it from the start and that helped them in the price war with the ps3. But it effectively killed the hddvd standard.

i have a feeling that this CES is gona be pretty lame for gaming.

"gaming is cool...gaming is here to stay...gaming is for everyone..."

I agree. I want gamers to game, not everyone. Having millions of dastardly morons to play games, who have no conception of quality or content, will severely damage the industry and lead to products that are inferior to what they'd be if the audience were critical. This is a fact, look at mainstream popmusic, not a whole lot going on there to tell the truth.

I'm not saying that casuals shouldn't be allowed to play games, but I strongly oppose having them decide the tone and direction the industry and it's contenders will take. Make one console for those who know nothing of games and care little about it, and leave us gamers to what we've been doing for 20 years++!

And how did you become "hardcore"? That's right, you played some "casual" or "party" games first, then looked for other games. No one is born playing Halo.

You surely cannot be opposed to a larger gaming population?

Ubuntu. Linux for human beings.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

If they conform the games and halt development for easy access; then yes.

If the quality of games remains the same, and the only thing that happens is increased earnings for the dev's: no!

I have no idea

They might spend the money on an higher price cut and really push downloadable content is my guess

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
