I forgot to add also look at graduating students portfolios. Do this for the school you're interested in and other schools with similar programs. Every student should have a portfolio and the portfolio should impress you. Look at the projects they did while in school at the beginning, middle, and end. Look to see what kind of freedom the students had in choosing those projects. Look to see if those projects show off the students skills. Look to see if they have a good resume.
That should really give you a good read on the school too because if you don't have an incredible portfolio and a great resume you aren't going to get a job.
