I can't remember whether I said it or not in the game. Well I think I said why that struck me as town, but I'll say it again.

The reason I got a good read from that post was because a few posters were implying that I started the talk about KH,and while I was aware and ready to point out that it was someone else who started to discuss KH, stefl stepped forward and spat it out himself. Well, he mentioned it first at least.

You'd think scum would allow for other players to be misled.

Anywho, I don't like to repeat myself and the only reason I entertained this question is because I can't remember if I explained that in a post, or if I was just thinking to myself aloud that day..

So continue the thought process. Had it become a big deal, and gotten back to stefl, how would that make him look? In your eyes, it would have been bad for him because it would make him look like he was allowing a misled mislynch to occur, and once you WERE mislynched, he would then surely be lynched once people trace back where the error came from. Furthermore, you don't see the benefit of him gaining your trust.

It's a null tell at best, because I don't think you actually thought it out. Which makes me think you were eager to make friends.

And again, I'd say the only pro-town read in there should be because he didn't have to step forward. He did nothing wrong, but drew attention to himself by saying he was responsible for your hinting at a name despite the rules fully allowing for name-claims.

On the other hand, it could also be one scum covering for another, or even buying townie support. And now you mock me for pointing out something incredibly strange about him? Should I even  waste my time referring to how he held back from lynching ST and then MADE UP those ridiculous reasons (which I just recently readdressed in the post that you rofl'd at) when I called him on it?

And you suspect me? I'm not so sure I should be putting as much trust in you either Hat.

But even that isn't great compared to what I've seen going against him.

@bolded. Exactly. Except, I'll say that it wasn't a tell perhaps (as I earlier suggested) but a read. A really good read.

Actually had I mentioned it myself, I probably would have thought nothing of it and moved on since it would have put an end to the fluff talk anywho. I guess because it was so volunteerally presented by stefl that I just got a good vibe out of it, that's all.

In a gist, regardless of who said it, it would have stopped the side-tracking. And seeing how stefl said "it was me" before I had to mention it gave me a town read. It was just a moment. Didn't over-analyze it like you are. It wasn't a set trap or something if that's what you are implying.

It's kinda weird ya know. It was one of those things that hit me the moment it happened.  I honestly don't think I would have labeled stefl as scum if it was me who mentioned that I didn't start the KH discussion. I probably wouldn't even of that anything of it xD

Anywho. If you look back at me, like stefl, I stayed away from the ST hullabaloo as well until the very end. So does that make me suspicious?

It's different.

Stefl said he would vote, and then didn't simply because I didn't....still hasn't given a very good reason as to why...instead just asking me why I didn't, then when I gave my answer, he didn't vote still. He waited a good while before making what I think are very questionable reasons to vote...excuses to vote, if you will.

Aside from your read though, I'd like your thoughts on his clearing of you.

The vanilla claim coinciding with side characters....There are only like 8 main characters in the movie, obviously there are going to be side characters, and that further makes the ability to randomly pick a side character so easy! I mean, I've NEVER seen someone clear another person by claiming a side character. EVER. That's like, completely setting up fakeclaims.

It'd be a real shame if you spent so much time thinking only to come up with such a conclusion that is a logical fallacy. MJD flipped Vanilla Townie, so if a role exchange occured then my scum/mason mate is someone else and still alive, and if no exchange occured then there still could be no loss. Unless you think some extreme bastard modding went down and Baal merely covered up the role. In which case, if you think I'm scum you can see my post directed at prof about slipping. Furthermore, it would be utter stupidity to moan about losing a scummate that appears as a townie when revealed. I could see why you'd think I might be upset if I were a mason in that case though, as I would have just lost someone who could confirm me.

No worries for presenting the mason idea. In the hypothetical situation that I was, I could not only eat mafia's kill,(just in case this seems like a hint, I am not Bulletproof) but also my reveal would confirm at least one other player after they claim.(Or give a one for one if there's a counter)

Somehow I get the feeling you really are a mason^^

@ prof - to avoid misunderstanding - with current candidate you mean st?

@ Prof - Sorry? You really think THAT is a promise to vote for ST?

Or this, this, this, this or this? Maybe you mean this? I did voice my suspicion but never voted for him, or promised to do so

Because these are the posts that I made from the moment you said you want to see him burn (except the last one). Please note how I did not Vote even tough I thought you voted for him... I just asked you if you are after him... now stop that nonsense... some people are trying to put words in my mouth I did not speak once in this game... I am disappointed...

Oh I forgot to mention... after this post I voted for ST in my next post...

Yes, I'm terribly sorry, I meant to say that you were acting like you had all this stuff to say, and then backed off.

Why did you ask me that question in the first place? The "why didn't you vote". You seemed like you had this whole thing, and then said, out of nowhere I might add, "oh I confused Linkz posts with prof". Then you followed up with, "I have been thinking about this today, prof, why didn't you vote", when you just said that you confused our posts.

How can you confuse our posts, think that I have voted, but then say you've spent time "that day" thinking about why I didn't vote?

Damnit lost my post... anyway... your laking one post there - this one

Okay, I can't remember my full tought process "that day". First of, ST was actually my prime suspect, until you came and said you want to see him burn and did not vote for him, I was like wtf, and I grew really suspicous of you, it felt like you were trying to get ST lynched without making your hands dirty (or at least leave them as clean as possible).

I was already speculating that the game could be vanilla and when ST made his ridiculous mafia-roleclaim (please look at my earlier post for clarification what a mafia-roleclaim is) which made him prime suspect again and significally reducing my suspicion on you, since it could very well be that you where trying to test how willingly the town is to lynch your comrade - but leaving that aside, I was pretty sure ST is mafia and his later silence conviced me even more that my vote is placed right.

Honestly, you are right with the fact that I was ready to vote ST earlier but did not do so until later, since there was always something leaving me in doubt.

Sorry, but I would like to discuss other things now, mainly some posts that cought my eye rereading a lot of older posts - thanks prof for making me reread.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4286226

So - MG turned out to be town and ST wanted to create a connection between Hat and MG - I don't really know what to make out of this, it doesn't make Hat more not suspicious to me, but I kind of feel this post will occupy me a bit, maybe someone else can do something better with it than I do... thinking and thinking...

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4286472

This somehow feels like ST wanted to distance himself from moreno... kind of supporting ToSs Theory, I think a FoS would have been enough - the fact ST HoSed is kind of bugging me... it feels like he didn't want to vote because it could cause a landslide... well again... I have to further think about it...

How is it that I can understand(well minus the confusing posts between prof and I) Stefl's train of thought, but Heph, FF, and prof are seeing some promise of analysis?

Maybe because they are imaginating additional posts and leaving posts out I made... T.T

@Linkz

I just want to tie this stefl thing up before I move any further.

I haven't had a lot of time to play recently and felt I needed to go back and make sure I had all the details right. I probably wouldn't have come back to it, but I was actually working on a theory that Heph, Hat, and Stefl were mafia due to the weird coincidences that keep popping up. The defending each other, the similarities, the non explanations..etc

During which, I also noticed that ST (in the very same post that Stefl just referred to) made a very honest accusation of MG and Hat. Which makes me think that it could have played part of the reason why MG was killed.

Still trackin'

Good luck all
