Flavor:

Halloween Town was thriving on the idea of Christmas.  Despite having a lacking knowledge about what Christmas was actually supposed to be, the change in pace was bringing the town alive.  Friendships were being made where there were once rivalries.  Whether these friendships should have remained as rivalries remains to be seen.

Those that Christmas changed the most were grouped together in one portion of town, still preparing their most marvelous present yet.  The present that would reveal their ingenious plan that Christmas allowed. 

Despite others believing the radiating happiness had finally spread to those who were evil, these were lies.  Deep down, they must know that thou which is once evil shall always be evil.  There were rumors beginning to float about that what appeared as good wasn't necessarily the case.  Paranoia has begun to consume what was very recently seen as happiness.

There was one simpleton in the town referred to as the Gate Keeper.  The paranoia hit him hardest.  Nobody had ever seen him act so strangely, for he always seemed to act like a normal human.  It was almost as if the poor raven had been poisoned.  It was not long before the Gate Keeper simply couldn't deal with it.  He took flight, and simply left the town, never to be seen again.

Too bad, us french love to behead kings...

on an other note, I love the intensity of the discution, Proff says he'd love to see ST burn, but since he didn't vote, people don't actually comment (? wtf?)... that's grand and it feels more like "the king is asleep and the people dare not wake him".... maybe hat's just an impostor king after all? ST's flip (if it comes to that) should of course be conditional to your need for protection. He is a valuable player and a day one scum lynch on him would bode well for you indeed ^^

umh I realize I may sound a bit like the doc hinting at protection...I'm not and that would be stupid ^^ (I was the doc 2 rounds ago already and didn't hint at protecting people (i think)).

While I agree that a Vengeful Mafia would be countered in some way by a good mod. I also think it's a horrible role to include in any game. I despise any role that punishes the town for being successful at finding scum and to even consider such a role sounds like wishful thinking on ST's part. What I mean by that is that he wanted to push his point about being sure MDJ was scum so he proposed a highly unprobable role because it fitted his agenda.

I did explain (put it in evidence in your quote), but here is the argument in a more elaborate form:
