well I guess it wouldn't be a waist of the doc's time even if he's not. Linkz is a valuable player so he'd be targeted either way. Oh how I dislike these kinds of posts, especially if it's about me. This gives the impression you think me town, as why else would I be deserving of doc protection? Sadly I don't think it's ever held as a tell nor I haven't felt anything scummy from you yet, so I'll leave my vote where it is and just keep a close eye on you. I would ask for the cop/tracker/investigative role to consider scanning you though.
As for doc protection, I certainly wouldn't mind being around in future days, but I don't think I'm most deserving of it. Perhaps if ST is lynched and flips mafia, so that I can hopefully continue to pick them off.(Though I'd give credit to Trucks as well)

You make a fairly good case against ST based on his "I'm certain he's scum, but let's get a mod replacement." But you also make a point I disagree with completely.

Ask them to pretty please commit suicide? Pray for a vigilante? One-for-one is a good trade if you ask me, especially as a Day One lynch.
As for ST's saying he was hoping the pressure would make Marcus betray fellow mafia, it's true no good mafia player would do that, but we've seen counterexamples and he wasn't exactly in top form so it would have been reasonable to hope for a slip IMO.
I'm not convinced I should vote ST, even instead of not voting anybody. It is only Day One after all.

I can say with complete certainty that if there ever is a Vengeful Mafia, a good host will give town some way to counter it.
One-for-one is great, except that if it's Vengeful you're still allowing mafia to choose which town is given up. With ST's apparent concern of losing even a potential townie in a newbie player, I don't believe he'd be keen on letting mafia choose to pick off anybody they want, which would likely be a higher profile player.
