If I were to say "a car almost hit a man on his way to work" and you responded with "there weren't any cars out last night"

Would we be talking about the same thing?

Look.  Here are some of Linkz's statements on the subject:
"About moreno's edit,I don't think he knew what he said looked scummy, nor do I think possible scummates would have pointed it out, causing him to edit it."
"I just didn't think anyone would be paranoid(and plain bad) enough to say something like "No, edit that!" or anything similar that would have caused the edit."
"I don't think many people would think it was bad and warn moreno in such a way that it would have caused him to edit the post."

So when you say, "if you're right, and somebody came on and warned him..." it just blows my mind how you came to that conclusion.

I mean, it's true he also said, "Something  like "don't do that again" or advice on how to deal with any questions that might come up, sure."  But AFAIK there is absolutely zero reason to suspect any particular timeframe for mafia coming online and telling moreno off, if you discard the edit, which Linkz argues is not a result of a reprimand.

Frankly this whole thing is IMO just a murky mess with no likely payoff, but if you want to keep going with it, whatever -- just keep your facts straight.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

You're completely missing the point.

But there's no point pushing the issue. You're not one for tells and meta.

MG, you're online now, care to check in with your daily post?

I don't have much to say right now, wonks explanation was pretty good just weird that he waited until someone asked him for it.

After the modkill, I'm starting to think a no lynch right now, but my mind could change.

You know I was being extremely sarcastic when I said Wonk is on his way to an MVP, right?

Or are you confusing his load of horse manure with F-F' cleaned-up  version with added unbiased commentary?

3.  Then hat jumps in, inflicting the additional indignity of accusing Wonk of parroting TOS when if anything the opposite argument could be made --

That made me think of something very similar.

When ToS said to Wonk, something like "but according to your own words 2 votes shouldn't be enough for pressure"

Hat said "that was...epic"

But really, wonk was making a joke in the first place by mocking ToS, who's argument against wonk is that 2 votes is enough pressure.

Interesting that it's all the same players, and that Hat stepped in twice on ToS' side.

indeed it's interesting... that too http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4288459

You got to learn how to filter some of the shit prof says sometimes. Anyone can find anything in any post if they looked hard enough and add " I have a weird/interesting/strange/vibe/instinct/feeling about that, and turn it in to something. Frankly, I'm tired of emotional breakdowns in this thread.

Linkz. I can't ignore this anymore. I was really concerened that Scum would kill me tonight if I bought it up again, but I don't care anymore. And I reassure you all again I'm a simpleton. But why  ... nay how did you just randomly blurt that role exchange out like that? That is baalz [MDJ] having another role, important role that may have been switched? I've been thinking thinking thinking and the only conclusion I can get to is the game mod has told you something. What really makes me believe you had some kind of outside communication is you were talking about baalz maybe allowing scum to talk during the day.

My conclusion, you are either scum who lost a scum mate ... Or a mason group who lost a fellow mason.

If you are mason, I'm truly sorry. But I've literally lost an hour of sleep thinking about this last night. And I have to know.

I'll admit I tend to be a lot less twisty than you are.  But I don't know what "point" I could be missing that validates what you said about Linkz's claim that from where I sit appears to be the opposite of reality.  It's not like you were going to trip up a mafia-Linkz by confusing him about his own statements.

I'd understand thinking that the edit DID result, somehow, from contemporaneous fellow-mafia action; and THEN you could make a suspect list based on who was online.  But that is not what Linkzmax has been suggesting; and if we go to the scenario that IS compatible -- that mafia-moreno edited based on a warning that had been given to him PRIOR to the edit, and he did it completely on his own (based on the preexisting warning) -- then I don't see how your post, "if you're right, and somebody came on and warned him...well...these are the players I remember being on at that point" can POSSIBLY make sense in that context.

"If I were to say "a car almost hit a man on his way to work" and you responded with "there weren't any cars out last night", would we be talking about the same thing?"
That would depend on when he was going to work.

Now THAT, hatmoza, is a town read. Not so much the accusing Linkz part, but the whole thing makes me think of al elric. I'm also going to have to read that part again, as I really didn't give it much thought, overshadowed by your maneuvering.

That is all, carry on.

I'll answer this in a minute, but for now

why would you assume he worked overnight shifts

EDIT [MDJ]

You know, I'd kind of forgotten about that thing where Linkz said that about baalz changing roles on people, and it is pretty bizarre.  Speculating that based purely on Marcus' comment is awfully flimsy, and it seems very plausible that Linkz knew it got changed, because he knew what Marcus used to be.  Which is obviously extremely suspicious.
