The dead thread was a fun read. I'm happy to see my Zero claim was as effective as I thought it would be. As I said in the mafia QT, I knew I would have to make my claim good, and the best way to do that was to associate it with existing roles (Zero, Jack) and make a powerful prediction (Vette was the killer) that still had a decent chance of being right.

As far as the right way to handle name claims, there are really only two options IMO that are nice and clean: the "safe list" idea, and making nameclaims (not roleclaims) ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN.

I'm not convinced roleclaims need to be punished at all. And any punishment short of modkills is a bit tricky, as seen here.

good job FF, I probably would have voted hat if it was the three of us on a final day, but since hat quit we'll never know.

Hat I am pisses at you for quitting for the entire town and for not coming forward the previous game day.

Baal although I don't agree with the rules you choose I am glad you stuck to them. Only thing I am mad at you over is having it go into a final night, you made me think vette was an SK and I was going to win :( but that is very minimal.

I really am sorry for the mistakes I made on the second day. I have no clue how I missed Wonk's claim. As for Radish's role, I should have put more time towards the final votals since they were switched due to a misunderstanding of when the day ended (I wanted it retroactively to when the timer stated, others wanted it when I came on).

Both were my fault, I realize that, and wish I could take them back, but it really would be appreciated if you don't have to be a dick to me about it, because it wasn't intentional.

Knowing he had no bullets left in his gun, what better way to scare some children as a clown then to pretend to shoot yourself. One might think there is a whole plethora of options available that would be scarier, but the clown simply did not care.

After all, he had just murdered the...thing...that was recognized as the town cop. Rather than reveal to the others what he had done, he buried the remains. How was he any better than the others who continued to kill townies?

Seeing a small group of children ahead, the clown quickly ran towards them, with his gun pointed towards his head. "I'M GOING TO KILL MYSELF!" he said with a loud shout. The children immediately began to scream, not understanding why the clown was doing this. Moments later, the clown pulled the trigger of the gun.

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

There wasn't even enough time for the clown's face to change expressions. Instead, the remains splattered all over the children that were screaming at him.

Within seconds, every single child had ran away, frightened half to death at what had just happened. They simply could not comprehend why somebody would hurt themselves in such a manner.

Elsewhere in the town, one known as Lock was grinning such as he never had before. He had outlived Shock, Barrel, and Oogie Boogie. It was he who loaded an additional bullet into the clown's gun, the perfect plan to finally take complete control of the remainder of Halloween Town. That which he had always wanted was finally his. Power.

Vette has been killed. He was A Clown With the Tearaway Face, a Town Two Shot Vigilante.
