The Name of the Rose is with Sean Connery, F.Murray Abraham, Christian Slater and Ron Perlman! Not as good as Umberto Eco's book, but quite a good movie anyway.

It is just too bad you are working on Platoon as well. Plus I think Gremlins deserves to last longer than The Naked Gun or ...What is The Name of the Rose even about? Robert De Niro in it?


The Name of the Rose is the adaption of one of the best book of the 80s by Italian author Umberto Eco.

it features Sean Connery in the lead role and is actually quite a good movie.( definitly miles better than Gremlins in my book).

Well mass down voting someone else beloved franchise is really annoying. I'll be the first to top chain voting down Khan, but it is one of my lower picks so once in a while I will give it a friendly downvote.

I just don't want us to get into a spiral of downvotes, it's no fun.
