When Harry Met Sally!
What is your strategy Mr. Ail? I do not think you want that to win. You are still miffed that that one movie was taken out...what was it? DPS. Voting up one of the biggest Romantic movies of all time will not make you feel better. Accept fate, and let it go. Now for all you guys taking out Eddie Murphy!!!!!!! + The Golden Child - The Abyss
Update for my records/count. |
I don't want it to win.
But I would really be annoyed if it went out before the like of Crocodile Dundee or Gremlins....
I actually like romantic comedies .. ( Love Actually would be in my top 5 movies fo the 2000s..)
It's kind of sad but when I look at the 80s there is no real movie that comes out like it's a master piece for me....( the few good ones were eliminated early and now we are left with the huge box office which were really not that good aside from the Indies and the Star Wars..)
I think the 90s and the 2000s where a much better period...
+Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
-Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan

Well I already know what i will vote on for the true 80s movies ;)
Here is a sample :
Blade Runner, The Milagro Bean Field War, Gandhi, Ran, Pale Rider,...
The 90s will be a fight between Pretty Woman, Princess Mononoke, Matrix, L.A. Confidential, Four Weddings and funeral and a few others....
I will be voting first for the Milagro bean Field War...
I've watched that movie dozens of times...
Edit : added Pale Rider to my 80s list. This movie has the most powerfull scene of any Western I have ever watched. When the girl buries her dog and prays for a miracle and far away you start seeing Clint Eastwood rides in like an Angel of Death..

Pale Rider, what a good movie full of questions! The marks of shots in his body, how that mercenary looks at him before he shots him leaving the same holes that he has in his body... Very good movie.
My votes:
+ Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
- WarGames
