I'm actually thinking about getting it. Are you playing it and if so, is it good? |
Very very good, my GOTY!
just like political threads next yr. i'm staying away from this kind of topic. yea hardware sold numbers still matter to me but not on this level.

Is it a download or did you get it retail? Might ask someone to get it for me for christmas instead of Halo Anniversary, not sure I can wait any longer!

Retail, and yes chosing Rayman over Halo is wise in this case, I've barely touched Halo CEA because of it.
Thanks to an incredible Black Friday week, the 360 has been able to cut the lead the PS3 has over it this year to just under 1 million. Congratulations must go out to MS for accomplishing this feat. A little must also go out to Sony for having their best Black Friday week, as well, though not as large as MS's week was. This outdoes the 287K needed last week, and so cuts the gap the 360 must outsell the PS3 back to ~249K a week. I still don't think the 360 can pull this off, but it will be closer than I normally thought (originally around a 800K-1M lead for the PS3).
As of week ending Nov 26th - 10,685,643(PS3) - 9,688,395(360) = 997,248 or ~249K over the PS3 for the next 4 weeks.
A note on the numbers: Since we don't have the yearly numbers, yet, each week I'm just going to continue to go back to the week of Nov 19th and add each individual week from that point on to the total from the week of Nov 12th. This will help me include any adjustments from that week on in the new totals. I shouldn't have to do this for many weeks, as the yearly charts should be back soon.
Er, there are 5 weeks left in the year, so it has to do 200k a week basically.

Except the 5th week, the last week of Dec, is going to go to PS3 by defualt. This is because the sales for the 360 are going to drop quite a bit when holiday shopping ends after Christmas. However, in other regions, like Japan, the PS3 is going to continue to rise. I decided to treat that week as a tie, just for argument's sake, so the 360 has only 4 weeks to tie/pass the PS3, not 5.

lol what a joke, you can predict the future now? It's still a week and I could say by default the X360 is gonna outsell the PS3 xmas week. PS3 only outsold the X360 that week last year 80k, in the face of X360 shortages.
