So rumours of Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

San Andreas??? Please, please, please, please!

Wouldn't you want one focused city instead of 2 or 3 less detailed, smaller ones?

I want the countryside! I loved having the vast open space to just cruise around, it was great fun. But I am sure I will enjoy whatever they present me

That's true, I loved just cruising round the long mountain side roads in san andreas, and the small towns along the way. If it was set in vegas the only country side we'd see would be desert.

I totally agree, San Andreas has the perfect mix of locations, some desert, some hills, some forest, it was just lovely

But if they're gonna make a game of that scale again, they should save it for next gen. It'll look pretty bad on this gens consoles.

Imo it will have to do Indian casinos if there is relevance.

I'm not sure. Just think how big the Assassin's Creed games have been, while still looking good. I would say wait until next gen, but if the rumours are true about Los Angeles, then I would be rather annoyed if they waited until next gen to make San Andreas again, and we just got LA

yeah that's what i was thinking few sites earlier as well. everyone who plays poker online (or played in the usa) knows how big they are involved in the casino scene. they own casinos, gave licences to online sites and i think that this gambling theme could be a great backround for a gta game :)

Please no more uber realistic story set around eastern european immigrant trying to win it big by shooting rival eastern european gangsters in the face.. And going bowling with his cousin

At this point, I'm happy with the realistic setting of GTA. High Realism with GTA, unrealistic humor with Saints Row.

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

Note that in the Assassin's Creed games, the cities seem bigger because you can only walk/run. Add a bike or a car and they become much smaller than you may think.
