Ericsson are a bunch of douches, i'm not talking about only this, but the fact when i worked on a tech sponsor, Ericsson was the biggest ass, they refuse to ship their products with Sony products as if they're the "superior" company which lead to a lot of slowness in our production and sales, there is a lot of deadlines to consider, which lead to lots of unneeded headaches, and Sony, couldn't do a thing about it, since they don't have the upper hand about this joint company. or so they say, Sony should really stop their joint company with Ericsson, for their own sake.

Edit : i mean look at this BS

i have no idea why Sony is still clinging to that company.

You seem to be saying that any issues with Sony Ericsson are nothing to do with Sony...   It is a JOINT venture - 50/50 - so they have just as much say as Ericsson

...and that chart looks ok when compared to Sony Corp. Sony as a whole haven't made a full year profit for the last 3 years.

They pretty much made an operating profit last year. The huge loss was the writing off of deferred tax assets. So, it seems that they're profitable at the minute at least.

we'll see in a week or so.

Are quarterly results incoming?

Around the Network

Well in terms of their gaming department, sony compared to MICROSOFT really do connect with their fans, www.blog.us.playstation.com is a perfect example of this, and of course when fans craved for in game xmb, sony tried their hardest to get it out. Playstation is also the most followed gaming brand on twitter, with millions of people following them. Sony certainly communicate with their fans with more effort than anything MICROSOFT or nintendo has really come up with

Microsoft doesn't have an XBOX blog like Sony has a playstation blog

Both MS and Sony are doing better than Nintendo of America.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.
