are you talking about the movie? or the definition
im really not following here.
like really, what is this supposed to mean
we will never know what anybody tried here... maybe ethomaz put this number in the thread hoping for lower number so he could say something like "wow even lower than i thought" or so... maybe he tried to let us think his number is low because he's a sony fan so we would think 2.3m is very low.
who knows what all these guys here try to do with the other guys^^ every post could have thousand reasons.
and now call me paranoid haha (and no, i don't think thats the case i'm just saying that every post could have different meanings)

Good numbers from the look of it, tho I didn't really dive into the details of the reports. Anything noteworthy this time that stood out?

With shipment numbers, we can compare the sell-through number VGC has with the official (and 100% accurate) shipped data. If there is a huge gap, like say 2-3 million or more, than VGC is undertracking a system. Of course, if VGC has the sell-through higher than the shipped numbers (which I think happened with the Wii) than they are severely overtracking its sales. These comparisons will lead to adjustments and a more accurate VGC. |
Thanks, but that is the problem, we can only take conclusions, if the difference between numbers is huge. What can we conclude about our numbers??? Are we overtracking or undertracking the 360? Or are we on point?

Like Seece said in the main article, a shipped/sold gap of 1-1.5 million isn't that surprising this time of year. This is mainly due to slower retail sales and some stores starting to order stock for the holiday season. So, I think VGC is probably pretty close to the actual numbers.

Nice, that is what I was thinking. People creating threads about Xbox selling 57,6M, and it being undertracked by a significant amount, some people even saying 1M, I mean it´s crazy in here. Good numbers for MS all around.
The real chalenge for VGC will be PS3 numbers, because sony usualy has huge shipment numbers in this Q, plus the price cut effect.
Thanks for the knowledge

I don't see where he downplayed it. Plus, I don't think MS is the company that The Source dislikes. I think he's pretty neutral on that one. It's a different company that he dislikes.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
