After some quotes from the reviews (like the Videogameszone.de), I understand Nintendo don't have consistent complains with Zelda. No matter if they make Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword, both are under the shadow of Ocarina of Time.

Twilight Princess/The Wind Waker because is too much like Ocarina, Majora's Mask/Skyward Sword because is not like Ocarina. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I'm happy because some issues (lie the connected field) are not problems to me. I will like to try myself.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

Since your Videogameszone.de conclusion is a bit messy, i've translated a bit of the review.
(Conclusion/Dislikes is a direct translation, The likes are just a summary of a big bunch of text)

Conclusion:

Is Skyward Sword a title in the Zelda franchise that every Wii-Owner has to get? No question - of course it is! Is it the best title in the series? No - but its a great one! How Wii Motion Plus is integrated makes it a special Action-Adventure on its own, and in addition, the Temple's are - again - just brilliant - but sometimes, collecting a bunch of certain Items is rather boring, though this is something i can forgive, for the sheer length of the adventure, that is.

(PS: The Headline Says: Epic, Elegant, and certainly filled with lots of creative Idea's. Might fit better into the front page, if youre interrested.)

____
- Dislikes:
There's no Open field. remember the time, where you stepped out of Kokiri Forest, and just saw the Hyrulian Field for the first time? (Or, the quite nice equivalent of it in Twilight Princess?) - sadly, this is something we felt was missing.
- Combat: While Wii Motion Plus is working very effectively, you may wish for the simple press of a button from time to time, since every single enemy requires a certain strategy, you have to figure out and execute. No matter if you face a Boss, or just your average Goblin.
(In short: World is challenging throughout, not leaving you that huge place you just could steer through, heading to your next local / Combat might feel Overused at times when you swing yourself to death at even the smallest enemies)

Likes:
Amazing Gameplay
Interresting Story
artistically designed places
Unique Sidequests
Challenging, ambitious Mechanics
Upgrading your Stuff

Thank you!! I only left that there as a placeholder, but I'll be sure to add this next time I update the OP (probably in a couple hours)

Interesting review though! And a good score.

Gamekult - 8/10, what a surprise. They give every major game an 8/10!

Sadly true, actually. Pretty much every game I've seen has Gamekult at the bottom. I mean, do they even give out 10/10 anymore?

EDIT- Answered my own question. Have a look here:

http://www.metacritic.com/publication/gamekult?filter=games

4% higher than metascore

1% same

95% lower

Normally end up being 14.7 points lower than average review score.

Average score- 58

And what's the point of using a 10 point scale if you've NEVER given a 10? And only 4 9's? (Red Dead Redemption, Galaxy 2, OoT 3D, Wings Of Liberty), and miles below the metascore? (Portal 2- 70%)

These guys should be kicked off Metacritic. I say add VGC!

Perhaps they use a more sensible scale that has 5 as an average game instead of ridiculously using 75%.

Theirin is the problem with Metacritic and gamerankings, there are all kind of different scoring systems melded into a single score that therefore no longer makes sense. a decent chunk of game reviewers admitedly use a similar 100 point scale, even if such a varied scale is ridiculous except for 1 person to compare games against others (lets say IGN had 1 reviewer give MW2 a 9.1, then a different guy did MW3 and gave it a 8.8.... GameInformer also have 2 different guys reviewing MW2 and 3, giving them a 9.0 and 9.5 respectively. This pretty much makes comparing any of the reviews scores against each other meaningless)

If publications always used only 1 reviewer for everything (or 1 per platform or 1 per genre) THEN the 100 point scale would be fine, as they don't... a 5 or 10 point scale (that means integers only... no 9.5s) would be far better.
Either way metacritic is ridiculous without at least the vast majority of publications using a similar scale.

That is great to hear! They used to be all for Nintendo , but no I trust there judgement. This is great news!!! I knew I dealt with the site being slow for some reason tonight!

I agree, Nintendo seem to have done themselves proud here. The only issue I have is, there's still 29 days to go until it's released! How am I supposed to survive for that long now I know how AWESOME it is???

(Of course, this IS ONM, so they could have overscored it. I doubt it. They didn't with the Galaxies, and so why would they with this?)

LOL you will manage.

LOL you will manage.

Sites like NintendoLife, NEurope, Thunderbolt, Nintendojo, EGM, Cheat Code Central, Gamespy, Times, Gameshark, AV Club etc. haven't reviewed it yet, and they all gave at least 2 of the past 3 Zelda games full marks. Why not this one?

Twilight Princess had an extra 50 or so reviews. Be patient.
