Most people prefer if you copy and paste the info into the OP itself. Makes the thread more popular.

It would be pretty cool if there were Japanese-speaking guys  in here to translate some of the infos, nevertheless I'll try c/p some of the infos that are comprehensible through GT.

It looks like people realize that they will be needed. The prices for these and Vita will be outrageous on auction sites, following the Japanese release.

It basically says that all of the pre-orders for those cards are finished until they have more available. Which will be after the Vita launches I'm guessing.

Isn't the 32gb card the largest and most expensive one? I'd imagine that it would have the smallest supply available compared to the 4/8 and even 16gb cards, which would most likely move at a higher volume.

You mean they are proprietary cards and not SD cards? Another FAIL on Sony's part if that is the case. I actually liked most of the Vita's features and where things were heading until seeing this, but I suppose as long as games can be bought at retail on cartridges or whatnot then I'm fine with whatever internal memory they have.

Yeah, Vita will use it's own propriety memory cards.

"As the Vita is a Sony product, these memory cards are proprietary, and you’re forced to buy specific Sony-branded merchandise.

According to a new press release, there are four different memory card sizes due for release in Japan alongside the Vita in December, and you can expect to pay a premium for your megabytes.

The 4GB model is 2,200yen (approximately $29), 8GB 3,200yen ($42), 16GB 5,500yen ($72), and if you want to go the whole hog, a 32GB style will set you back 9,500yen ($124). "

The prices for the card as of now are outdated, almost all of the online retailers in Japan have lowered the price.

Yes. Japanese men need to compensate for their small....space.
