"Sorry folks, this is just another rumor at this stage. *Could* BioWare make Mass Effect for the PS3 (or the PC, or some other platform) in the future? Yes we could, but we are not working on a PS3 version currently."

So, no version in developement or planned in the near future but at least the confusion over who owns the rights between, MS or EA has been cleared up.

Just buy a 360 if you want the game. You can get a 360 from Ebay for under 250$.

At least that is confirmation that the PC version is in production (I guess that was obvious though, right?). The extra RAM should eliminate the texture pop-in.

I think we all know it's gonna end up on PS3 eventually as well. The second one will be a timed exclusive for sure, and then they'll probably release the PS3 versions as a trilogy.

Anyways, this is just a plus to PS3 owners. But if it does happen, it won't be for a while.
