SSBM lasted me many years, so the Wii is the obvious choice.

Wii, as it's the first console since Intellivision that made me want to play on it besides on the PC, perhaps because it'so different. I'm very tempted to buy it, only the little time I have in this period to play and the huge number of PC game I like I still have to complete or even begin still stop me.
No, I lied, well, not reaaly lied, omitted another reason, I'm also waiting its price to drop under 150 euros

Nintendo Wii- really looking foward to SSBB Mario Kart wii and Wii Fit

Also: still cant get enough of the GC games as well

Wii, it has all of Nintendo's franchises (especially Super Smash Bros.), 3rd party companies will soon start to put their games on it, it has backwards compatibility with the GC, and I have a potentially huge source of classic games I can get from the VC.

ps3

Wii. PS3 and Xbox are nice but more for Single Player games. Wii will last forever with 3 friends.

Had to go with the Wii which has also opened my eyes to all the great TurboGrafx shooters out there. I play the VC almost as much as the normal Wii games have to give props to Alien Crush as well.

my friends only come to my home when there is important football match to watch together. we normally go out for movie, football, shoppin or havin a cup of tea when we wanna hang out. which means
gaming is always something i do alone, mayb multiplayer online sometimes, so i dont need the Wii, swinging the wiimote and nunchuck alone in the room makes me feel stupid, though i really admit with a bunch of friends it will be extremely fun
so i picked ps3. mgs4, FF will help you to get through those lonely times
