Second Uncharted 3 review arrives, scores slightly lower than predecessor

Update 2: Score confirmed. To compare, Gears of War 3 received a 96% in the same issue.

Update: There are some questions as to whether or not the score is the real deal – we’ll let you know if we can confirm it. There’s no question that the game received a Gold Award, though.

Following Playmagazine’s review, Dutch publication Power Unlimited has provided their own verdict for Uncharted 3. The magazine did indeed give the game a “Gold Award”, along with a reported 94% mark.


Uncharted 3 scored a slightly lower than its predecessor. Uncharted 2 earned a 100% grade back in 2009.

Even so, Power Unlimited still believes that Uncharted 3 is one of the best PlayStation 3 game to date. The magazine wrote:

“Uncharted 3 is Drake’s most varied, compelling and overwhelming adventure ever! It is jaw-dropping… The whole game is full of highlights. One of the best games ever for the PlayStation 3 to date.”

I have done well avoiding reading anything about Uncharted, but that better not be true, but I will be staying away from Uncharted threads now to be entirely sure

Lower score and the game is better and one of the best of this gen .

Only managed to play the multi-player so far and it was fantastic; considering the single-player has been consistently awesome, I can't wait for this!
