One of Asia’s leading distributor and publisher of entertainment software, Namco Bandai Partners has teamed up with the game developers at Square Enix to obtain the exclusive rights to distribute Final Fantasy XIII-2 in the Southeast Asian region.

So if you happen to live in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore or the surrounding countries and own an Xbox 360, Namco Bandai Partners will be bringing the next Final Fantasy game to you.

In addition to the news, we can also bring you the exact release dates across Southeast Asia for Final Fantasy XIII-2 on the Xbox 360.

Taiwan and Hong Kong: Thursday December 15, 2011 (Japanese language version)

Taiwan and Hong Kong: Tuesday January 31, 2012 (Chinese version)

Korea: Tuesday January 31, 2012 (Korean language version)

Singapore & SEA: Tuesday January 31, 2012 (English version)

Namco Bandai Partners will also be collaborating with Square Enix to provide the text/menus in Chinese, Korean, and English, along with the voiceovers in Japanese for the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII-2 in Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

This next installment of the Final Fantasy saga will feature a new battle system that will allow players to command monsters along with a whole slew of new levels and tasks to tackle. Multiplayer has also been revamped and it promises a new experience for all gamers.

I think it's not just about risk, it's also about capacity. Namco does a lot of manga tv shows, and has a lot capacity in dubbing stuff. And maybe they have some better connections and experience in those countries as well.
