The franchise is more than likely going to continue on the DS. It would make sense because the series never tries to push system hardware as far as graphics are concerned.

Square Enix made Dragon Quest VIII for the PS2, 3D but it was cel-shaded. I just see this series only-on DS.

Good series, but Final Fantasy has me under its wings.

Either DS or Wii.. Bot would make sense.. releasing it on ps3 wouldn't.
