Does anybody else think that  the next dragon quest should be on the wii because wii is going to be the market leader in Japan.

I thought dragon quest already was going on the Wii?

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

probably will be if it's not on DS. It just wouldn't make sense to put it on PS3, and the game isn't supposed to be a graphics pusher anyway.

No, I think it should go on the DS. The game has a chance to sell 5m copies on the DS. It wouldn't get close to that on the Wii.

it would be great for the wii to get it but Dragon Quest can come out on any system and still sell 5 million copies easy because its a established franchise(Except 360 lol it would fail in Japan)

Yeah. By the time (2 years or so) the next DQ game is ready the Wii's userbase will definitely be really sizable, especially in Japan. It would be great to have a DQ game on my Wii.

If S-E keep their 1 main DQ game per generation like they did with DQVII and DQVIII you could be in for quite the wait for DQX on the Wii...

If DQX goes to consoles it's pretty much gauranteed to be a Wii release.

If it went to 360 there would be riots in Japan.

I'd actually like to see them announce DQX as a 360 exclusive, even as a hoax, just to see what form and intensity the public outcry would manifest as.

That would be funny.

I expect the next DQ on Wii 2, KH3 on PS3 (and maybe 360 depending on how well Last Remnant sells), and FF13 and FF13 Versus only on PS3 of course.
