The Blackhawks really shouldn't have won that last game. I'm pretty sure that Coach Q specifically told Carcillo to never shoot but he did it anyways.

If the Avs manage to end the Hawks streak tomorrow, I bet Choco will be itching to come back and rub it in.
Boy am I glad Loco isn't around.
Anywho, it was a great streak for the Hawks but the Avs really kicked their butts tonight and have a lot to be proud of.

Yes, out of the blue this sort of thing does happen.
They were more than overdue to have a bad game and they most certainly had one. Let's just hope that it doesn't lead to a losing streak. *gulp*

Emery started the game and was pulled after giving up the first four goals... That isn't to say that it was his fault though. The team just didn't show up at all in the first period. It was like they went with the strategy of giving up the puck to the guy from the other team all alone in front of the net and let's see if the goalie can stop it. The game wound up 6-5 after starting 4-0 so they did pull their heads out of their asses. Let's hope that they do it permanently now.

He is one of their better players, but to be honest the team played so badly in the last two games that I don't think that he would have been much of a help. Oh well. They were due to hit a bump along the way. The ride was too smoothe.

They still managed to get 5 goals (I know Edmontons defense isn't the greatest) they just had a terrible first period.
In other news, I'm a happy Wild fan. Beating Vancouver tonight put us top of the NW division and 3rd in the western conference. We have 2 games against the Avs later this week so I hope Choco is back in time to watch his team get crushed.
