I think most fans have resigned themselves to the fact that evil does exist and that there will be no season. I have not been paying attention after Gary Bettman seemed so dissapointed when they the NHPA recected the public offer and said theat infact the NHLPA's propasal pushed negotiations in the opposit direction from a deal.

First games should be January 17th. 48-50 game season. Fuck Yeah!!!!!!!

Officially it will not. Though it might take some time for the players to adjust to their top level with less time to prepare.

Been a blackhawks fan since Roenick, Chelios, and Belfour what was that in '92? I was 6 then. I grew out of all sports during my teen years and have started getting back into baseball and hockey for a few years now... maybe since like '05 or '06. I like teams because of players too. Loved Calgary when that little shit fluery was on their team. Liked the stars when modano, belfore, and hull were on the team. And I played on Doug Wilson's sons team in California so i like San Jose.

Well, there are quite a few Chicago fans here including myself. Have been my second team.Chelios was always a Hawk in my book even when he changed teams.

Theo Flluery was pretty good as I have seen him play on both Calgary and the Avs a lot.

Ahaha, star players do not guarantee chemistry especially early on. I do not see them winning much more than 50% just like last year. 

Plus, I really do not care about my avy much anymore. Hell, I wish more guys were willing to do bets more often
