Who will win?

Chicago Blackhawks 12 80.00%

Tampa Bay Lightning 3 20.00%

Total:15

Yeah Bert's attack on Moore was terrible, but it was just a bad choice he made in an otherwise really solid career. He paid for it with the longest suspension in league history, and being a journeyman the next few years until he finally settled down in Detroit. I think he's paid his dues. He doesn't deserve much respect, but doesn't really deserve hate anymore.

I love the wings. Datsyuk is the most exciting player to watch with the puck, and Kronwall is the biggest hitter in the league. Plus they have one of the top 5 defensemen of all time in Lidstrom.

But yeah the Yotes are my top team! I'll be interested to see where they are moved in a couple years. I really hope it isn't somewhere stupid (a non-hockey market) like Seattle, Vegas or Kansas City. I also don't want them to go to Quebec because I'd have to stop cheering for them. I would love them in Southern Ontario or basically anywhere in Northeast USA/Canada. I don't consider Quebec part of Canada.

Of course he's a great player, but I have a rep to keep so he stinks.

Dude what's with the Red Wings hate my man? How could you hate such an amazing team? I mean they aren't as good as the Coyotes, but they're pretty damn good.

And all their great players are late draft picks, Zetter and Datsyuk are both like 6th/7th rounders! haha. And Holmstrom is the lowest draft pick ever to reach 1,000 games.

They have todd bootuzzi/ bertuzzi who when was a Canuck broke Steve Moore a rookie member of the Avalanches neck on March 10th 2004 ending his carrer. The man cannot play now. Basically, this evil man embodies the entire team's character.

The word banal and playoffs comes to minf=d too when I think of them.

Now them 'yotes are a team on the rise worth watching.

Bootuzzi did pay, but I will hate him more than any other player as long as he plays. The Colorado fans still boo him every time he touches the puck. Overall, I suppose this thugs intent was to murder, but only crippled so he does deserve a little break. On a better note, Steve Moore does walk now. But the game is about aggression, toughness and loyalty and incidents happen, so I guess he deserves to be allowed to play. I wish him the worst. :)

I really doubt Kanas City or Vegas would have any interest in Hockey, but i could see a Seattle-Vancouver rivalry being cool. Do not worry about the Quebec thing =,  the entire US  thinks Texas is some strange, foreign land and they think so too.

The most annoying part of the Moore incident afterwards is when people claim Bertuzzi didn't break the guys neck, the pileup after did. Give me a break, if that were the case every football player in history would be a cripple.

Yea there is a lot of buzz in Vancouver about a potential Seattle team - because it's so hard to get tickets, and if you do they are crazy expensive, lots of people would be interested in taking the drive down to not only see their Canucks play but other top teams as well.

I hate the Red Wings as much as the next guy, probably a lot more actually, but Pavel Datsuyk is legit! Best player in the NHL I say.

He has NOT paid his dues! That Todd Bertuzzi is still playing is an insult to the game. Every time his skate touches ice he is defiling the sport and the Red Wings a little more. He will have paid his dues when he goes full Konstantinov. I hate him and wish he would get a career ending injury as soon as possible so I no longer run the risk of seeing his vile face on my television.

Do you really need to have an answer to that question?  I am a Blackhawks fan that lives in Chicago.  Both teams are original six teams and the Wings have been the Blackhawks biggest rivals since back in those days.  The two teams have always been in the same division.  Also, the history hasn't always been pretty (the Wings have a long and  illustrious history of always having a top goon /enforcer).  Most hockey historians will tell you that Gordie Howe himself was one of the dirtiest skilled players ever.  Ever heard of the Gordie Howe hat trick?  Also, who throws an octopus on the ice?  Fans used to do it when the Wings were being eliminated, but now they do it for no reason.  Add to that the fact that win a lot and it's not too hard to see why I don't like them.  Hawks and WIngs is like Bears and Packers, or Yankees and Red Sox, or Keanu Reeves and Academy awards.  They don't mix.

Oh yeah true man, I forgot you were a Chicagoite! That makes sense then. My geography tells me I should be a Leafs fan, but screw them I like the Coyotes.

And yeah Gordie Howe aka Mr. Elbows was definitely dirty! haha. But a highly effective player. Its sorta funny how the Gordie Howe hat trick is named after him but I think he only did it like 3 or 4 times in his career! Personally I think a Gordie Howe hat trick is better than a regular hat trick.

I'm sorry man but we just disagree on hockey. I hate the Blackhawks! I hate Marian Hossa because of how he lost in the cup finals with the Penguins in 2008 and then jumps ship to the Red Wings in 2009 and they lose, so he trades to a different contender, the Blackhawks and that lucky asshole finally gets a win. I also hate Patrick Kane because he's way overrated and he just looks like a rat, plus he beat up a cab driver. And then Toews is all right by me but why is it spelled Toews and pronounced Taves? Damn what a weird name.

Central division teams have 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th in the west. Talk about a good division! minus Columbus of course.

Adolf Cthulhu Bertuzzi just got a 2 year extention with the Red Wings. I hope the Red Wings never win a cup with that sub-human on their team.

Canucks finally end the Wings home victory streak in a shootout!!! And are one point from eclipsing the wings from the president's trophy.

East also continues to be dominate as even Edmonton beat Philadelphia. XD I am pretty sure every West team playing an Eastern team won.

And Turd Bertozzi missed one of the penalty shots in the shootout.

Chicagoan, Marks.  We are Chicagoans.

Bobby Hull > Gordie Howe

I actually agree with some of the things you say.  Some people say that Hossa jumped from team to team until he won.  Others say that he was in demand as a "hired gun".  I think that it's a little of both plus I think that teams were reluctant to sign him long term because he's injury prone.  The Hawks made a mistake by locking him up for the next 75 years.  He's a very good player... when he plays.  Patrick Kane isn't as good as he should be because he's a drunk.  He has enough talent to be one of the top players in the league, but everytime that he isn't playing hockey he is in a club getting hammered or spotted getting carried out of one.  It's a shame.  I wasn't in the cab and neither were you so we really don't know what happened.  Toews is a really wierd name but Roy is the weirdest.  :p  For the record, my favorite Blackhawk is Duncan Keith.

I know.  How can anyone support a team that rewards this guy?

I'm ashamed that Carcillo is on our roster, but it's not as bad.
