Actually, it's based more on an Adamantoise from Final Fantasy. If you ever played against the ones in FFXI (I haven't, but I've seen them while traveling; too low to fight them), they look the same: giant turtle with trees on their back. Plus (like on both Final Fantasy XI and Pokemon), it's weak against Ice (4x weak if it's in Pokemon).
Yet Blaziken is the only Uber starter...
Yes, Squirtle is the best! I also do like Totodile!!!! I just started to collect Pokemon cards again :)
