Arcanine isn't going to do well in Ubers tier, and while Salamence can, almost no one runs Scary Face on Salamence.

I never played PO nor I have any intentions of doing so, so I'm limiting the choices to the games themselves.

I don't see the point of releasing a DW Blaziken (nor any other DW hidden ability exclusive pokemon) before releasing the missing pokemon from the list, and that will take a long while. 

Again, I fail to see the inclusion of Blaziken into the Uber department. Not only does it lack any kind of impact in comparison to other Uber (take for example the Garchomp that I use), it's only based on an ability that can be easily countered by a wide variety of strategies.

That's why my Salamence usually takes people by surprise  

Dragon Dance + Scary Face combo = Insane speed advantage. I know Arcanine wouldn't bode well on the Ubers, I was just giving an example of countering Blaziken with Speed Boost since his defensive isn't that good (70 base stats) and the Life Orb damage boost is enough to OHKO with Extremespeed before Speed Boost takes any kind of effect.

Heck, my Rivalry Adamant Haxorus is more prone to actually fare against Ubers than Blaziken.

Well it seems like anything I say won't change your judgement.

Anywho, he's been classified Uber by smogon, and they spent months doing theorycrafting and discussion before setting the tiers of 5th gen (nothing was final until like a month ago).

 

To get back on topic, with what radishhead most recently said:

Feraligator is my favorite of 2nd gen as well. :)

I can see why they had those discussions. I was part of the Smogon community for a long while back in 2006-2008 but left since they had very strange and unclear rulings sometimes and I didn't see eye to eye with them (i.e like this one with Blaziken). 

Anyway, I'm with you on the final statement, Feraligatr is also my favourite 2nd gen starter (And one of my favourite Water-Type as well).

Well you can see from my Sig which is my favourite Water Type

Being part Dragon (and the only one, outside legendaries, which isn't weak to ice) is also a big bonus, but his constantly good stats and a very good supportive/status moveset plays a big role on his usefulness for me.

^^Couldn't agree more.

Starmie is also one of the OU legendary 3.

Starmie, Gengar, and Zapados are the only one's to stay in OU since gen 1

Which shows you have sturdy thier place is in the metagame.
