It depends, what is your price range?

Less than $90 :/

I am looking at this one http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=Logitech+Drive+FX&hl=en&prmd=imvnsfd&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=1054518957709144925&sa=X&ei=IeWRTobmA-rl0QHDt_FH&ved=0CGQQgggwAQ

Does anyone know if it will support Forza 4?

hmmm.. thats limiting yourself,  but madcatz has a race wheel for  $72 on Amazon. It seems pretty good and it works with Forza 3 so I don't see why it wouldn't work for Forza 4. Link

If your willing to pay a little bit extra you can get the newer Madcatz race wheel made for Forza 4 that cost $156 new or $99 used. Link

I actually ended up getting the logitech one. I've heard pretty good reviews about it (despite it being old) people on the Forza 4 forums said it was great for the money. And I've heard nothing but bad things about the Madcatz wheels.

The old official xbox wheel is awesome. It has everything you listed and if you look used, you can find it under 50 bucks... just sayin'.

Where? I looked everywhere and the cheapest I could find is $100 or so.

I highly recommend against getting a wheel at all from past experience. My buddy had one for either Forza 2 or 3 (can't remember) but it was a horrible wheel. Nothing like actually turning a real steering wheel. Its honestly better on just a controller.

Wasn't there a thread recently talking about a new racing controller out for the 360? Did you see it? That would be the perfect one I think.

Nooooo that would be absolutely horrible I don't want a free-roaming Wii like wheel I want one that you can root to something and treat it like a car wheel. And it has to have pedals which the one you are talking about doesn't have.

I wish MS didn't have to be asshats and only have certain people be able to make Wheels for their console. I would love the Logitech G25 or G27 since they are pretty much the best for the price.

Those type of sterring wheels always felt so clunky for me. Of course I do not like the floating wheels either. So I usually just stick with the controller. I guess this is kind of the preferred method type of thing. Fighters like joysticks, but I just use the controller as well.

Yeah I've never actually used a wheel with a racing game...I always just used a controller. But i'm liking Forza 4 so much that I want to invest in a cheap wheel and hopefully sometime in the future I can get one of those nice fancy Fanatec wheels.

I would just go to a used game store, instead of buying one. How many times will you use it again after this?

Gamestop doesn't carry Racing wheels of any sort, and the one I bought was used. And trust me I plan on using this wheel a lot!

BTW did your quote button break?

Matter of tastes, I suppose, personally I NEED a wheel for racing sims, I can instead be fine with a joystick in arcade racers, but I totally suck at both using a controller with thumbsticks, my thumb movements aren't fine enough, maybe also because I tend to clench, that really sucks, as it also often gives me writer's cramp when I have to write for a long time.
Being a PC gamer has its advantages, I paid my PC-only wheel with force feedback, a Trust GM-3500R, 79€ VAT included, now it's even cheaper, 49€. It's cheap but decent, although it has just two control axes, one for steering and one shared for accelerating and braking, meaning that some old style driving techniques aren't possible, but for that price it's fine, and the wheel has a good feeling, good force feedback and a good grip too.
Last time I checked, unlike two years ago, all the high end wheels I saw at stores offered PC, PS3 and XB360 compatibility, but I noticed recently a lack of offers in the mid range, maybe it's due to the Xmas season not really fully started, so maybe retailers wait for the last Xmas novelties to restock.
One last advice I always give in wheel threads: avoid like the plague the entry level, vibration feedback, Thrustmaster wheel, it's made of shit, a suckling could break its gear paddles.
