Do I have any last words? Yea where the F--k is CONKER already. I have been saying this for years. As for the end of the year. Yea it's going to be a tight one and what a show it has been. All the doom, da doom doom doooooooooooom! Threads eating pages of doom and gloom and apperently spewing onto this long a-- thread and making it a massive book to read. I would like to say I failed terribly on my system predictions below, accept for my ps3, which will end up kind of close. Wii by far the worst prediction.

So do I think 360 will pull ahead for the year, YES and if not it will most likely get enough in the next week or so to make up the difference.

I will also be back to make my year end predictions again.

I bet my life that the difference between PS3 and the 360 after last weeks numbers will be less then 10k, and will have a long ass week reading, ZOMG 360 4THEWINZ and PS3 WILL OWN LAST WEEK AS USUAL.

And in the end we are the winners because of how well both are selling, this gen still has some years before it ends, I know this was my best year of gaming, and you can´t go wrong with The last of us, GTA V, Last Guardian, Halo 4, etc.

0_o do you really think that? All 3 know exactly how much they're selling and where, Nintendo just chose to be more open with their numbers. Unlike Sony and MS who don't reveal certain sets of numbers

I guess it begs the question, with such miniscule yearly gains, will the PS3 ever overtake the 360 before the Xbox 720? By then it just wouldn't mean that much.

Going to be very interesting to see this in the end. I wager its going to be close, but by the looks of it X360 Global numbers were almost 250,000 above PS3 Week of DEC 17. I think its likely in the final two weeks that gap will be larger seeing how X360 and Kinect is the hot holiday gaming item in the Americas this year. Trust me that This December I see at least 2 or 3 advertisements a day for it, and I watch 2  hours of TV/Video media a day at most. My bet is X360 will be #1 for the year (excluding handhelds) by just a bit. Will be very close.

Last words? We still have over a week before the last weeks numbers appear on Vgchartz and then we have to wait for MS and Sony to give their shipped figures for 2011 (which they will hopefully do fast)
