The adjustment was due the NPD November... PS3 under 150k and 360 on spot but VGC goes with PS3 UP 130k and 360 down 30k.

Well with USA numbers that went up this AM I think the 360 is going to come up short. I expect the 360 to come up real big this last week with the great special deals in NA and little PS3 special deals, but dont think it will make up the 600K difference I expect. Only hope is that VGC estimates are off and/or next week MS continues the special deals through the end of the year. Both are possible.

So in the weekly US sales thread the discussion went into the ditch (aka adjustments) and the following was posted by postofficebuddy and myself.  Unless I misunderstood what postofficebuddy said the talk of massive adjustments for PS3 and against 360 last year didnt occur.

Looks like the PS3 from BF through the end of the year was adjusted net up of 3,713.

Looks like the 360 from BF through the end of the year was adjusted net down 88,663 which can be attributed nearly all to the final week when VGC was not yet aware of 360 shortages. Actually prior to that final week the adjustments were net up 99,169.

I don't know. Last minute Xbox360+"Balmer calendar" bundle that will give the xbox the little extra boost is needs?

Yep, it definitely missed that little oomph in EMEAA, Kinect was the big thing last year that got them the good sales in that region, a price-cut should have done the trick this year.
