I think the xBox 360 needs to be adjusted up. Unless FF XIII-2 came out in Japan, the PS3 Japan sales seem a bit high to me compared to last year. It has it at 104K on the front page, but only 40K on the Japan page for Dec 4th. Even the US and Europe doesn't match. The PS3 in Europe is the only one that seems to match the front page and Europe page. Looks like there may have been adjustments and it hasn't been changed everywhere yet.

AP/MEA doesn't = Japan, that's Asia Pacific and Middle East and Africa. and our Japan figures are the most solid region on the site!

hmmm... this is hard to predict since the 360 usually does really well during the holidays, I'd say even with the 800k lead with the PS3, there is still a good chance that 360 might come out on top. Anybody got Wii numbers?

Looking at November of this year and how the consoles did the remainder of last year (final 4 weeks). 360 outsold the PS3 last year by about 350K those final 4 weeks. During those final 4 weeks the 360 outsold the PS3 by 1 million in NA and the PS3 outsold the 360 by about 650K elsewhere. I expect this year with no 360 shortage in NA that the 360 will outsell the PS3 by about 1.5 million and the PS3 outselling the 360 by about 700K elsewhere.

Since MS kept saying they will be #1 worldwide. I expect huge deals the week leading to Christmas and maybe year end close out specials that final week to seal the deal.
