Cool, I wanna see adjustments. How did VGC mess up with the X360 so much? They usually mess up with the PS3.

It is indeed interesting how 360 been undertracked in this case, it sells most of its consoles in UK and US, which are both relatively easy to track when compared to say.. Jordan or something - the countries that are in middle east etc, where PS3 reigns supreme. Must be Europe for 360, unless NPD shows otherwise.

I don't think it's Europe. If it was severely undertracked in Europe, then Microsoft would have probably said they were #1 there. Did they say they were #1 in Europe? I know they've said #1 WW & US.

Not severely, but if you look at it, the 360 was trumped badly in Europe by PS3, even if it's undertracked there by about 500k, PS3 will probably still be on top(Not sure of the actual figures, as I cba to check).

And by Europe I meant the old EMEAA numbers, forgot they did the split.

I don't understand something. In the other thread we see that X360 is about 800k short of 15 shipped but if we compare 66m shipped with data for X360 from the front page we see 1.6m difference. What am I looking wrong at ? :p

It could be up to 66.4, meaning 2 difference. Or they might have rounded up, which doesn't make sense to me personally :s. Why on earth you'd round up 65.6 to 66. I would understand if it was 64.8 and they rounded up to "almost 65".

Like i said in the other thread about these sales we only have one half of the sales data so far, until we have Sony's shipment figures it's impossible to say that anybody has 'won'. But what is funny & what nobody seems to mention is what Microsoft shipped this year compared to what they actually sold is significantly different due to the fact that they had to heavily overship in Q1 to make up for undershipping in Q4 of last year.

we will see for sure however sony came out with the whole 3.9m ps3 numbers.  so ms can definitely run with the numbers sony themselves stated can't they?

I read somewhere that the xbox 360 was launching in new markets, could someone link me? I can't seem to find it.
