No, I mean't outshipped ...
Like I said, what out sales indicate. We can kinda guess Sony shipments from their FY forecast

Well, I tought so too last year, but somehow they end shipping the same amount. I will wait to see, and from history, Sony ships a lot in Q4

Mmhmm, wouldn't suprise me, they can both be unpredictable (usually sony better for and MS worse off)
Dec NPD will be most telling, seeing what growth they've seen there, seen as Japan was flat for PS3. Europe I have no clue one.

I'm surprised MS did not say a thing about how great their Christmas was in America while Nintendo did. I expect 2.5 million up to 3 million in the US for the 360. As far as Europe, I know the UK is 360 and Wii, but the PS3 should do very well everywhere else, they need it.

MS won't say anything now when they have CES as a platform on Monday.
And the PS3 takes care of business once again!.. 360 is following the steps of the WII 2 years ago. Selling Great numbers around the holiday but falling behind the competition the rest of the year. The PS3 is lot more consistent. Great Number for all consoles regardless.
It turned out to be one hell of a battle, huh? When the thread started, I thought the 360 would sneak out a win but then the truth settled in. When I saw the Black Friday numbers, I was rooting for the 360 again! It didn't pull it off but it gave the PS3 quite a run. Congrats, Sony! You earned it!!
On to 2012!!
Congratz on a great year all you systems,ps3 you did it you held your ground and got the win you deserve.i don,t know of another company that could have gone thru all you did and come out smelling like roses.xbox 360 my #1 gaming device ......yah did me PROUD great job to the finish, here is to many more happy years for you BOTH,what a great way to end 2011.GREAT THREAD ind the end all peace.

I have to admit I was watching the numbers, and i was really interested to see which system was going to win. I was rooting for the PS3 and I am happy it won.

Sales dont matter the 360 is a cheap system with a small gaming library, many many people buy multiple Xbox 3fixmes because they break down which means they have to buy another one of course when you have to buy things multiple times the sales numbers are higher. PS3 has more active units.
