Demon's/Dark Souls  Souls is not a mutiplayer game, its not that kinda game. its a single player game with online element.

but Demon's still let the vigilant do so..though it was really supported

Fromsofwaret apparently didnt like that, and might have drop that it has been brought to everybodies attention that from what ive read.. nobody has not gotten a summon to work that involed theres freinds..2 theories:

1. everbody plays on the same server but plays in mini servers within a server limited to a set amount of ppl so person A B and C may ll by playing, person C drops his souls sign in a good area and person B sees it..but  person A wont because hes a  different mini server... hell person A  AND B might not see C souls sign.

2. you can never play with anybody on your friendlist....

I dont like this at all...... thats aliitle to far i understand every other choice to restrict the.. "buddy game.." from DS.

but thats to much i mean DS made it very hard to do, but it was your reward for being vigilant..but to completely remove it???

Me and a friend tried to play together for almost an hour. Apparently its now pvp and you play with a limited pool of people. At least thats what I've read.

Not a single online session yet for me , I have no idea what wrong here, only messages

BTW does this mean you can pause the game?

I should have figured...From Software not being complete dicks would be a sign of the world coming to an end. I guess that makes me glad they are being asshats still >_>

Off topic:
Wow can anyone else find the collector's edition for this anywhere online. Its sales are really gonna suffer for stock outage, Namco/bandai dropped the ball.

So you can play co-op but only with strangers? But my Mum said never to play with strangers.

ehhh. I was hopeing they allow you to. I played demon soul's with my girlfriend, by putting the marker down. My brother did the same thing. I was hoping they would have a better method for this if you wanted. Obviously it's going to be easier. But the only difference is instead of getting strangers, you get people you like and are maybe talking on the phone with at the same time. And I played it probably twice as long as I would have to play it with my brother, and girlfriend.

I haven't bought it yet. And I still will and most likely think it's great. But this is a dissapointment if true (not saying dark soul's is a dissapointment because it looks awesome, but this would be one aspect where imo is a step back from DS).

If you had actually played demon's souls you would realise that you do not need a pause button. You can easily find places with no enemies and walk away from the game. Calling them asshats when you don't know a thing about the game is uncalled for.
