no way... the game will be close. I'd still wager GB coming out on top, but Giants will definitely give them a run for it.

No, this one wasn't luck. It was smart offense to realize the Steelers were playing horrible passing defense. |
I think they also did not expect him to pass much as he hardly did at all against the chefs. They were probably overly focused on stopping the run. Elway told Tebow to pull the trigger and not hold back and Tebow did more than he has many times with good success. The great thing seems to be the fact that Elway tried to let Tebow know he was going to have to be less catious throwing the ball and not hesitate. One thing is for sure Tebow has improved from his earlier games passing wise.

I agree. John Fox is a very good coach and the main reason why the Broncos are where they are, regardless of what some may try to tell you. |
No fox is good I just think occasionally you have to take more offensive risks. When we play the patriots we cannot expect to stop their offense as easily so Denver will have to take more risks to get points to keep up. Unless Denver's D totally dominates the pats there is no other way they can win.

Total points scored by all teams are only there for completion's sake, all ties were broken by applying the previous tie-breaker. Funnily enough, the two people at the top didn't use the table. They should be disqualified, really. Our resident Chicago fans were clearly expecting better defenses this weekend.

Forgive me Rol, it was a busy week. I'll make sure to do better next time, besides theres no way I'm going to forget with the Pats playing next week
btw I'm really surprised by your understanding of the game since you don't live in the states. Especially having watched your predictions this season, I definitely feel like your getting much better at it. Having played the game at a relatively high level myself I can tell that most people talk out of their asses when they argue football.

Played in College?
Edit: I will take your lack of response to mean you have not and therefore conclude you are very pretentious. And also a little too convinced the Patriots will win next week. After all, Denver has the heavens backing his new disciple.

lol maybe i used relatively too liberally. I played for one of the top high school teams in the country but I blew out my knee senior year so I couldnt keep playing. I played Rugby for the Irish national youth team before I moved back to the states and started playing football.
As for the Patriots beating the Broncos yes I do think its going to happen. The Broncos will be able to get pressure on Brady early on in the game however with most of our starting offensive line back and the threat of our two tight ends the broncos will not be able to crowd the box, and don't even mention dropping one of the safties in unless you want welker to kill you. This will put all the pressure on the front 4 lineman. This combined with the up tempo offense that Brady keeps the offense in will wear down the linemen and limit the pass rush later in the game.
Hence I predict that early on Brady will get hit a few times and the game will be pretty close with Broncos even having a slight lead. However I think the Pats will get the lead going into the 4th quarter which will force Tebow to come from behind and play a style that he is not comfortable with or very effective at. And when I say come from behind I don't mean get to the 40 yard line and kick a field goal, I mean the pats will be up by at least 1 touchdown forcing Tebow to lead a sustained drive down the length of the field, and we know how that usually goes.
Thats my take on the game, feel free to share yours.

Yeah, the giants already proved in the regular season that if they are firing on all cylindars, they can compete with the Packers. That game came down to a late Pack drive to take a 3 point lead.

Tom Brady already is prepared for this game big time Rol. I believe the Patriots will triumph in the end.
