I think they also did not expect him to pass much as he hardly did at all against the chefs. They were probably overly focused on stopping the run. Elway told Tebow to pull the trigger and not hold back and Tebow did more than he has many times with good success. The great thing seems to be the fact that Elway tried to let Tebow know he was going to have to be less catious throwing the ball and not hesitate. One thing is for sure Tebow has improved from his earlier games passing wise.
