Forums - Gaming - Two games i'm hesitating to buy, need help!

So, Okay the subject is about the following two games:

Lego starwars complete sagas
DBZ BT 3

Both are out on two or more platforms so it doesn't really matter if i tell for which system i'm gonna buy it, i just want honest opinions about them.

things to think about while advising me :

I never owned any lego starwars game nor did i EVER own a DBZ game, i like both starwars and DBZ (obivously, and therefor also very interested in them).

Thanks in advance!

I'm getting Lego Star Wars this weekend, in spite of the fact that I owned the last two. The gameplay of LGS has stayed the same, and it is a simple game, you can't die. One of the best features of it is replayability, as once you finish a level, you can replay it in free mode, allowing you to be multiple different character and find new areas in the levels. There is a lot to hunt for, and it is all really fun.

Buy DBZ

Your power level will be over 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love and hate Lego Star Wars. The humor is absolutely incredible but some of the levels just frustrate the piss out of me. Not sure what else I can say about it other than I think it's best for the 360 (hooray for achievements) but I suppose if you're wanting anything that's co-op on the PS3 that's about your only option.

As for DBZ:BT3, I've heard very mixed things about it. For the most part I've heard it's fun and improved a lot of the problems with the last one. From what I've heard the online play works well with friends but lags pretty bad when playing with nraomd people.

Lego Star Wars is a very simple but fun game and good value for what your getting. There's really no significant difference between the different versions, so any would be fine. (360 & PS3 offer online co-op but it's really more of a play with a (girl)friend type than online)

DBZ:BT3 has actually grown into a decent fighter. The Wii version has nice motion sensing so you act out the movements for the moves. Works well and there's a little icon in the corner showing the moves so you know what to do. I prefer this actually 'cause with button combos people are forever pausing the game to look up what they should be pressing for each combo. Especially in a game with 120 characters each with different moves.... IF you like DBZ you'll like this game. Get the ps2 version if you prefer basic button mashing though.
Wii version has online - it works well for friends, but is totally broken for random matches (ridiculous lag on random matches) no idea if this will be fixed.

 Sorry about that:

Lego Star Wars - Totally worth the frustration
DBZ:BT3 - Assuming you're getting the Wii version and as long as you don't want to play against random people online should be worth it.
