I've seen a decent amount of threads involving religions and the idea to create this thread popped into my head yesterday.  I was raised Christian but started to lose faith in high school (especially in organized religion).  I took a religion class while in college that looked at the major religions.  This is where I started forming my own religion taking certain ideas from various religions.  The main religions that I used to form mine were Buddhist, Hinduism, Christianity, Taoism, and Confucianism.  I admire Native American's views towards nature.  I also admire certain aspects of Rastafarian (especially the smoking marijuana). I find Norse mythology interesting considering I have Norwegian blood in me.  Basically, I don't think any religion has it 100% right so the best option to me would be to pick and choose the good ideas and leave out the ones that you disagree with. 

If you could form your own religion what religions or ideas would you pick from?

Scientology, mormonism and himduism. It would be pretty trippy.

That does sound like a weird combination.  I never even bothered looking into Scientology so I really don't even know what it is all about.  What ideas do you like from Scientology?

This thread is mainly for people that don't care for organized religion or people that are undecided on which religion to follow.  There are many people that fall into this area.  I am not trying to force views or have people change their mind.
