Oh I just put that in because most people say ect. despite listing everysingle one there is (or atleast they can think of) and don't really mean it.

The correct abbrevation is "etc." http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/etc.

Wow I don't even remember when I started using the wrong one, I remember using the right one in grade school but can't remember much inbetween regarding etc, at any rate you grammar police obviously aren't doign a very good job.
