Yes, I'm waiting for it, although huge backlog and PC getting too slow for the latest games will force me to wait longer. And I hope too they won't dumb it down. After all, despite the levels split due to XB1 RAM limits, and the simplification of the climbing gloves compared to the old rope arrows and far too many special arrows available compared to the shortage in the previous two, even Thief III managed to keep almost intact the original difficulty, if played at the most difficult settings. If they'll add regenerating health or shit like that, or even worse if they turn it into another FPS like they did to Syndicate, I'll hate them forever.

Gears proving that software can really push hardware this far into the console generation,

I don´t wan´t to sound like a hater, but, IMO those Gears numbers are great, but they are not a surprise. People were throwing all kinds of huge numbers and what we saw was a natural progression.

Gears 2 sold 1M more then Original Gears FW (even tho a lot of people said that 1 was a better game
Gears 3 sold 1.1M more then Gears 2 FW (similar difference, but Gears 3 is aloooooooooooooooot better then 2)

So my point is simple, these are great numbers for Gears, but, this is not the Franchise explosion that a lot of people predicted (Week 1, of course, no one knows the legs this game will have, but this is on pace to sell 7M in 2 years)

More then anxious to see how Gears or Uncharted will effect hardware, I am really looking forward to the multiplats.

Will Fifa sell PS3s??? Will MW sell Xboxs?? Will Battlefield be the first mainstream shooter to sell more on PS3 and will it push hardware??? (I don´t even mention other multiplats because the list is too extensive.

Nintendo killed the Wii too soon IMO, one thing is for sure, when the Wii U comes out, there will be no one on the fence between the 2 of them, like it happen between the ds and 3ds in the beginning.

How is it the PS3 sold less this week (172k) than with the price cut effect than it did during the same week last year (210k)???

Move was launched week prior this week last year and caused decent pump for HW.

It actually makes you wonder why Sony don't make a limited edition ps3 for games like Uncharted3.

3DS is selling like mad. The PS3 held it's own with a 170k, not bad at all.
The Wii is doing horrible, along with the PSP.
