Really? I didn't sense that at all. He was telling a personal story and expressing his opinion, with the use of facts. I would hardly call it arguing. The video wasn't aggressive in the slightest.

he is trying to prove others wrong, with the use of fancy pantsy words and cool images/videos.
btw, does christianity really forbid seeking scientific facts and exploring space? i never knew that, tells you how much i give a damn

*Facepalm* It's not just "fancy pantsy words". It's discovered using the scientific method and reinforced with evidence.
Christianity doesn't directly forbid seeking scientific facts and exploring space, and he didn't say that. When he talked about religions (not just christianity) discouraging the use of science he's talking about people who believe the bible/qu'ran etc. to be literally true, and completely rejecting the incredible amount of discoveries we have made through the use of science. The point he makes at the beginning of the video is that the natural world can already provide and go far beyond the awe-inspiring things people attribute to religions/spirituality. He was stating this as his opinion with the use of facts about ages and amount of various things etc. I didn't hear any sense of sarcasm or aggressiveness that could really offend anyone.
I've said it before but I wasn't really sincere. I'll say it again but this time, I mean it.: It really makes you think, doesn't it?
Between the start of that video and the end, I flip-flopped between a thumbs up and a thumbs down. I couldn't decide. In a way, I was raised to be religious but at the same time, as I got older, I sort of shied away from it. Lately, I've been thinking of going back to church but I'm a little afraid of it. And then, there's this.
Scary and comforting and intimidating and mind opening. Good video. Thanks for sharing the link, man.

I agree, most catholics I've met accept the evolutionary theory, and so do most of the higher ups in catholicism. It was also a catholic who first proposed the idea of a "big bang", which is now qualified to be a scientific theory. I'd actually like catholic christianity if it wasn't for the pedo priest over-ups and human rights violations.

I was also raised to be religious. Well, I'm 15 so I guess I'm still being raised to be religious, but my mum knows I don't buy it and I don't believe in any religion or superstition so she keeps her religion to herself. But I doubt she really believes it. She agrees with me on pretty much everything I've said about things to do with religion and supernatural beliefs, she's probably still calling herself catholic because it's just her culture/background (sorry for the tangent here).
I wouldn't be afraid of church, just think of it as a social occasion if you don't buy it.
No problem :)
