I'd say the experience was on par with the first time I played COD4. Better than any other cods imo. And better than cod4 because games have obviously progressed since then.

It's neither better nor worse than COD. It's just different.

The PS3 version doesn't look as good as COD.  Frame rate is 30 which is noticeable BUT the graphics are not better.

Lots of camping going on.....

I just keep dieing in Battlefield, I didn't really have much fun, since people just kept killing me before I could even see them

The metro map is mediocre but the last section of the map is good.  Also, I played some Caspian Border multiplayer map on the PC and it is awesome.  Tanks, helicopters, planes..  but the map is big. 

I was underwhelmed at first but BF3 is growing on me.   I prefer to play FPS on PS3 but the PS3 beta graphics are also very underwhelming.  Everything looks hazy or the colors look washed out.  Too much lighting and not enough contrast.....

Overall, 60 frames per sec of COD is better than 30 frames per sec BF3 on consoles. 

Downloaded it this morning So will post back after I give it some test run throughs.

the battlefield3 beta suck'd ass. any COD game trumps that crap.

I don't like it as much. It's very slow, and it has so many campers it makes COD look like Unreal Tournament or Quake III Arena. It's almost like they made a game specifically for people that think COD doesn't have enough camping.

On top of that it is very glitchy, laggy (EA servers always suck major smelly ass) and just feels off when you shoot. Not realistic, just off. COD isn't realistic, but it doesn't try to be. I didn't buy Black OPs and I won't be buying MW3, but if I had to choose a generic military style modern day shooter I would go with MW3.

I was disappointed by the BF3 demo/beta. I will pick it up once its cheap for the campaign.
