So in otherwords, if you go into a hospital feeling ill, you would be fine with them giving you random medications with random effects most of which would probably be negative just because they were "doing something."

Wow are you kidding? That's plain stupid and not what I meant, I mean it's better to do something rather than sit back and letting things unroll randomly, of course that doesn't affect things like what you said which is different.

Sure it does, as stated above the current protests are focused on doing something that won't help, and in reality will be harmful to the goals that they actually want to try and fix.

It's easier to build on an empty lot then one full of useless and harmful regulations.

Or to put it another way....

better to do nothing to get out of a ditch then digging downwards.

The whole story goes that the protest remained fairly peaceful, but then 2 f....ing pigs decided to run up to some lady who asked "what am I doing wrong?", and proceeded to pepper spray her in the face. They managed to get 1 or 2 of the bacon bits' names and Anonymous got a hold of that info. Anonymous saw what happened and put the bacon's name all over the web with his address, number, family, etc. I was never a fan of Anonymous but this is the first time I agree with them. I know in Europe cops get to abuse their power everyday, but in the US there are certain guidelines and the right to protest is protected by Constitutional law, as long as it remains non violent (which it did).

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

What? You have to do something to progress with anything, like rebellions back in the day, such as civil war or simple America vs Britain back in the 1700s, point being something has to be done and what those people are doiung is a step no matter how you look at it.

Isn't interesting how most videos of the police using "unjust force" on "peaceful protestors" that are on the political left ALWAYS start after the person is in custody? Could it be that showing why these people were arrested would undermine the argument that the force was "unjust" or that their protest was "peaceful"?

It's only "shocking" because it's in america, land of the free, blah blah blah.
This is fucking shocking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHpLIB_Jgjc
Protest in Bahrain. People are getting beat up for real.
Others almost burnt alive and
others beat up just for trying to help those people.
Pepper spray, ooooooooooh.

It is a step...

a step backwords.

The revolutionary was is actually an ironic comparison.

When taught about the revolutionary war, the very first thing US school children are taught about is the Boston Massacre.

Do you know who signed on to be the British soldiers lawyer?  John Adams.

Why?  He recognized that finding the troops guilty was a mistake and a negative.

Ya and that massacre led to great things, everything worked for the better.

I'm not sure about the laws there but a lot of places make you get a permit to stage a rally so they can organise the traffic , police ambulance service etc in advance, also it gets the organisers to read up on what they can and cannot do so every one knows what's expected of them and that way the rally/protest can be carried out in an orderly manner, with the protesters get to put there point across with little disruption caused.

My thoughts exactly.  And during it they ALWAYS overreact to make it seem like its worse than it is.  Like in the second vid when the girls are sprayed with pepper spray.  I'm sure that stuff stings quite a bit, but they were screaming like they were being stabbed repeatedly.  And like you said, the vid starts after they were being blocked off, so we have no idea for what reason that was done.

Only because adams succeeded in stopping the idocy.  Had those who started the boston massacre got their way the revolution would of never happened.
