Sony's out done this wk. 360 on top will likely hit over 200k and be #! next wk and the wk after will start the decline.

waiting for WW sells as 360 may be over 1k in Japan.

GEARS could do 3m+ this wk an 900k to 1m next wk which is mostly unheard of but GEARS is a different monster.

Nice increase for the Xbox 360. This just helps valid the Xbox 360 as the "Shooter Box" with the release of Gears. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I'm just saying it's becoming more and more evident the target audience of the console.

What was the sales number that the Australian NPD released exactly (and I mean a number not a percentage)? Noone seems to be able to tell me.

What I remember from it was that it was up 500% or so, but then the question arises compared to what is it up?

And then when you look at VGChartz numbers and you say it's only up 300% (so it's undertrackedz!!1!11) then what makes you think the VGChartz sales for the week before the price cut are accurate? It's just nonesense.

Wow. SW no surprises there. The HW on the other hand I am shocked at the boost. I thought that most owners had a 360 that would buy gears. I guess the above points are valid (trade-ins,on the fence). Wild stuff

Impressive HW boost for 360 and Gears of War (beast!) 3 did awesome.

I hope God of War Collection 2 (Or origins) can do much better in the long run.

What are you sighing about?  The Xbox 360 got a substancial boost because this is what these buyers want.  More power to them and Microsoft.
