Im wondering how long this game is... Im at the gaping dragon right now, am I halfway done?

Halfway point is Sen's Fortress...Gaping Dragon is about 1/4th.

That Undead Merchant Lady is just ripping you off. Oswald of Carim (the guy on the tower where you fought the Gargoyles) sells them for 3K a piece.

Really? That bitch, I knew something was fishy with her. But I needed it because I didn't want to go all the way back and risk losing my souls. Oh well, at least I beat the gaping dragon( which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be). I'll resume blighttown tomorrow. I heard that place is hardcore.

This game is a tad harder than Demon's Souls, I have to admit.

Well Blightown is Valley of Defilement 2.0. If you didn't had any difficulty traversing it on Demon's Souls, then you won't have much difficulty on Dark Souls. The problem on Blightown is that you can be surrounded by mobs pretty fast and if you don't have good poison resistance, then you'll get poisoned/toxin pretty quick too.

Yeah, Gaping Dragon is pretty easy since his moves are pretty slowish.

@arcane_chaos - I would recon that the best sets for a knight would be full Havel Set, Ornstein's Set, Stone set, Black Knight set or Paladin set. All of those are pretty heavish, so you may need to equip Havel's Ring just to avoid being over the maximum equip load.

With my 42 dex and the Life Hunter scythe makes me feel good =D

Meh, my Channeler's Trident + BK Halberd at 50 Str also makes me feel super good...especially when I get 900 Att XD.

Jesus 900!? What the hell?? It gets that crazy with str?

Nah, the scalability is only D for Str and E for Dex. Channeler's Trident is another matter though, it's special Two-Handed R2 attack is an Aura that boosts attack to x1.85 for 3 minutes for the user and every phantom that the user has summoned.

Ah, very interesting sounds awesome lol. So how many hours you got so far and what's your soul level? This question kind of goes to everyone as well, I'm level 121 with about 73 hours I believe.

don't know if this was posted already but this is very useful glitch against so cheating game such as dark souls

You need to go back, there's nothing you can do until you find the Lordvessel on Anor Londo. That yellow barrier will go down then. It's the same in the entrance of Dukes Archives, Lost Izalith and New Londo.

@player1x3 - I hope everyone who uses that save glitch exploit gets it's save corrupted. Them and every other damn hacker in the game.

@blkfish92 - I'm at 70 hours and SL 100. I spent a lot of time farming very rare drops on the previous playthrough and finished NG at SL 85.

Demon Titanite are dropped from the Titanite demons (big pun ). Titanite demons are the ones like the enemy next to Andre the Blacksmith, prior to the entrance of Darkroot Garden.

Ah I see you're about the same as me then, just been farming items and what not this playthrough.

And I also hope people get screwed over for a glitch abuse!

So I accidentally attacked the merchant that sells that transient curse item. So I had to farm 38k souls for two hours or so to buy my absolution.

That really hurt. Those souls could have took me from 19 to 29/30.

how are they hackers? They didn't hack anything. They are just using a smart exploit to their advantage
