Crap, there seems to be no way to open the massive door on the Valley of the Drakes at this point of the game. Oh well, going to New Londo and the Sens.

I found a shortcut from New Londo Ruins to the Valley of the Drakes so there seems to be some connection between the two. In New Londo Ruins I found nothing but a Cleric and tons of Soul-less Ghosts (argggg) although I wasn't very thorough.

Yeah, I found that one two, it links Blightown, Valley of Drakes and New Londo. I found a Fire-Keeper soul (my third one) on New Londo, close to the Valley of Kings exit (on the watery part).

I can't seem to find the shortcut back to Firelink though Do you have to activate the elevator on Firelink to be able to use it in New Londo?

Edit - Nevermind, found the elevator, it was near the passageway to Valley of the Drakes xD.

@Mad55 - I'm at Soul Level 52.

If I understand correctly, you can find a small passage going down near the Firelink Fire Keeper. Use the lever there to activate the elevator.

Yeah, I had found that one already but I didn't go down the elevator (I was informed of the ghosts so I didn't want to wander into new londo just then). I was just lost on New Londo on the other side of the map entirely (near the Spiral Staircase which needs a key to drain the water).

Gargoyles keep raping me, back to cod for some stress relief before going back, for the 10th time to recover my souls >

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Would reinforcing my Longsword be a good investment? Right now it's sitting at +2. Also, would it be a good idea to stock up on a few poison arrows (are these even useful?)

Also Lestat, how many hours do you put into DS every day? Because you're making progress very fast lol.

Really feel like playing DS right now but I have a stupid ass assignment and essay to complete for tomorrow >.

Forgot to mention that I went to battle with the Capra demon, wasn't even expecting him to pop up. Within 15 secs, I got raped thanks to those two fucking dogs that appeared from nowhere and then the Capra demon coming in for the kill. Lost 2k souls which kinda sucks.

Hmm, there are better swords along the way than a Longsword, so you might wanna hold on to your Titanites. I only started forging after fighting Quelaag. Haven't tried the Poison arrows yet.

I've been putting a lot of hours, especially since i'm currently at a break in my thesis work until wednesday XD.

try nuking the first one until like 65% (Shortly before you trigger the second) , and then wait for a good opportunity, like after an attack of him, and then go all out, be reckless. with a little bit of luck, you should be able to nuke him to like 25%, and the last bit is doable with the second around. and once one of em is dead, the fights goin easy. =)

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Lucky you...studies haven't been very kind to me.

Also, I made a very dumb mistake by not picking the master key as my gift. Totally regret it now because I hear there is no other way of getting it other than picking the theif as starting class (I picked pyromancer)

Is there any good place to farm for titanite ores?

Nah, that wasn't a mistake. I picked the Pendant instead of the master key myself and i'm doing just fine. You can find/buy all the keys you'll ever need.

The soldiers on undead parish (the big ones) drop Titanite Shards as rare drops, but the best spot for Titanite farming is on the Depths, since the slimes have a normal 1/5 rating of dropping Titanite Chunks which can be converted into Shards (after ringing the two bells, a NPC which does that, plus converts excess inventory into souls appears on the firelink shrine).
