I love this idea!

1. It's rumored to use Verizon, which I already have (FiOS)
2. They just updated the FiOS set top box and it's awful so I'd gladly jump at any opportunity to get rid of that
3. There's a bigger hard drive on my 360 so that means I can record more things in HD
4. One less device in my entertainment center
5. I have two 360's and only one cable box which means I can get TV in my home office.

I cannot wait for this to happen!

I think its just like the ESPN content...if you have cable, you can stream those channels on your Xbox 360 for free, since you already pay for cable....but if they add their own channels, those who have xbox live gold should not pay

I would like it for sure but if it costs extra money (which it probably will) I will not bother with it.

same here...extra money from my pocket to no one....LOL

lets see where it goes.

Sure looks cool !!

The Sky implementation of Sky Player on the Xbox in the UK is brilliant. If the US version is similar, then it will be good, and can see many people using the option

I wonder what it will be like.
It probably comes with a fee or will be stuffed with commercials.

I used to be all excited about on demand, most tv programs available when you want to watch it, included with the cable subscription. But since last year they locked out the vcr controls on all 'free' content and inserted commercials. And you can't record it obviously.

I'll take the 30 second commercials over a new fee to pay
