Forums - Nintendo - Skyrim studio: Wii U is 'a possibility'

Honestly I don't take much from this article. I don't think any major developer hasn't considered WiiU support infact all the publishers are likely mulling over the idea with great thought. The fact is going to be just how powerful Nex-Box and PS4 will be in comparison to WiiU. If Bethesda starts making another game they are one to always want to use the latest technology. Bethesda likes to push boundaries and go as far as they can with as much freedom as possible. The fact is if Nex-Box gets unvieled and so does PS4 at the next E3 and the rumours that PS4 will launch late next year or early 2013. We could see WiiU not meet Bethesda's standards!

Though I do think that Bethesda coming out and saying this is encouraging. Much like Epic's recent comments. But neither company has stated they will support WiiU both have just suggested its possible and/or they are contemplating it.

"The more changes we have to make to a game the less and less palatable it becomes because making a game is an enormous process. Just doing 360, PS3 and PC - I don't think people understand the amount of work that goes into that. All of the localisation you have to do... all of the testing you have to do... on every platform in every language... It's a pretty huge undertaking.

That's just BS. Skyrim will be finished and released in less then 2 months while WiiU won't launch until after E3 2012. That gives them at least 6 months and a lot of free people to make a port.
