This had better be true. I did not wake up my family in the middle of the night for a hoax, :P.
Something tells me that something of this magnitude happening so suddenly has got to a false alarm, though.

really really cool if true. i never really bought into relativity despite the evidence. it will be amazing what things we can make from this discovery!

This is pretty interesting but I doubt it will have any real implications for the real world context.
I mean, these are neutrinos; ie; nothing of value.

If it is true, and I do not believe it is, it means that we can signal backwards in time.

In relativity, moving faster than light is directly equivalent to moving backwards in time because from certain reference frames events will be in the other order.

Science has known about neutrinos and many other sub atomic particles for 60 +years t his isn't that unexpected and sub atomic particle physics is really in a world of it's own .

You see it every time you look at the stars in the sky, every star is as it was thousands of years ago or longer depending on how far away the star is,

David Bohm could probably explain it with his implicate order idea.
